The importance of conveying clear and concise instruction when dealing with clients and partners.
I don’t know about you, but time is my most precious commodity. There isn’t enough of it, and once its gone you can’t get it back.
If you are at Tim Horton’s and you order a coffee and you want a large double-double – odds are you are going to have ask out loud for exactly what it is you want. Same goes when dealing with staff, vendors and clients.

Our good friend Gary Vaynerchuk (www.garyvaynerchuk.com) talks about family a lot. How he wouldn’t do what it is he’s doing (consulting, speaking, CARING – check him out, this guy is off the hook) if his number one priority wasn’t his family and their well-being. I like to think what I do everyday takes this to heart.

Never has work been so much fun! It’s 2:10am and I’m compelled to tell you all this…crazy.
Dan and I have been putting the final touches on the new Ste-Anne-De-Bellevue Rugby Club site for the last few weeks (see www.sabrfc.com as of Nov.19th), and are thrilled to finally have a product that is just about ready of which we are proud AND, more importantly, should serve the Rugby Club as a well designed, functional, and interactive website for years to come. read more »

There is no time better than right now for individuals and small businesses to make names for themselves. Unlike some, who for whatever reason believe Social Media is the second coming of…. (insert something really big and important here), those that hustle, plug away, add value to their clients’ businesses, and KEEP IT REAL, are the companies you will see thriving in the next 3, 5 or 10 years down the road.

Say you are running PPC campaigns and the numbers are not good (because you are keeping track right??). You then decide to create another landing page design and replace the old one without knowing exactly why it wasn’t performing as expected. A/B TESTING PEOPLE!!! Wake up!

Many people think when starting a new business that any old logo will do. They think that by just typing the name and having a fancy font with a nice color and a piece of clip art beside it is sufficient. There are so many other aspects of a business to think of that its understandable and even forgivable for overlooking the importance of your company’s brand identity.

Thus far, Heelatch has worked primarily with small and medium sized businesses and helped them with marketing materials, website design and development, ecommerce and graphic design. A lot of these companies came to us after having spent years toiling with an existing brand (logo and all) and poorly designed and non-user friendly websites. read more »
